The applications of our rubber sheet

The rubber sheeting is the ideal gasket material for all types of flange joints with low seating stress. The various qualities have very different media properties which is why we refer you to a separate media resistance table if you are uncertain about selecting an appropriate rubber quality. Generally most rubber qualities harden and become brittle if they are exposed to high temperatures which is why the temperature range of each quality should be considered. Also avoid exposing the rubber gaskets in general to a seating stress greater than 12 MPa as this presents a risk of crushing.
